Silver Spring, MD (January 29, 2022) – A pedestrian was left injured after a crash near the Chicken Loco on Friday evening. Just before 7:40 p.m., on January 28,

Reports from the Montgomery County Police Department indicate that a minivan was driving near 8523 Piney Branch Road when it struck a pedestrian before crashing into the Chicken Loco by the intersection of Flower Avenue.

The adult pedestrian was left with serious injuries and rushed by an ambulance with the Montgomery County Fire Rescue and Services to a local hospital.

The crash remains under investigation.
