North Bethesda, MD (May 8, 2022) – One person was rushed to an area hospital with severe injuries resulting from a pedestrian accident on Friday morning in North Bethesda. Just after 11:45 a.m., on May 6, the Montgomery County Police Department, firefighters, and EMS were dispatched to an auto accident on Rockledge Drive.
Reports provided by MCPD show that a pedestrian was traveling in the area of 6400 Rockledge Drive. As the adult pedestrian walked north of Democracy Boulevard, they were struck by a vehicle.
The pedestrian sustained injuries as a result of the accident. EMS rendered aid to the victim on-site before transporting them to a local hospital for further care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
