Chevy Chase, MD – Pedestrian Crash at Wisconsin Ave & Woodmont Ave ends in Injuries

Chevy Chase, MD (March 23, 2022) – A pedestrian crash by Moby Dick’s Restaurant in Chevy chase left one person hurt. Just after 6:10 p.m., on Monday, March 21, the Montgomery County Police Department and firefighters with the Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Services were dispatched to a pedestrian accident on Wisconsin Avenue.

According to officers with the MCPD, a pedestrian was hit by an electric bike on Wisconsin Avenue in front of the Moby Dick’s Restaurant near the intersection of Woodmont Avenue.

The pedestrian was provided care by EMS with MCFRS. MCFRS EMS then transported the injured pedestrian to a hospital in Montgomery County where they received medical attention.

An active investigation is ongoing to determine what caused this electric bicycle and pedestrian accident to occur.
