Greenblatt & Veliev, LLC is extremely proud to announce that Lonnie Greenblatt and Elnur Veliev have been selected to the 2022 list of Super Lawyers for Maryland! Partner Lonnie Greenblatt was selected to the 2022 Maryland Super Lawyers List, and Partner Elnur Veliev was selected to the 2022 Maryland Super Lawyers Rising Star List. Both partners earned this distinction for the legal category of “Personal Injury General – Plaintiff”.
Mr. Greenblatt joins this Super Lawyers for Maryland elite list as one of no more than 5% of the lawyers in Maryland named as a Super Lawyer. This is the third year he has received this honor. Mr. Veliev joins no more than 2.5% of the lawyers in Maryland for his honor as a Rising Stars. This is Mr. Veliev’s fifth year as a Super Lawyer in Maryland in the Rising Star category!
The distinction between the Super Lawyer and Super Lawyer Rising Star designations is that of age and years of practice. For the Rising Star designation, the only attorneys eligible for this award are those who are either 40 years old or younger, or those who have practiced in their nominated State for 10 years or less.
Lonnie Greenblatt and Elnur Veliev’s selections were made by the Super Lawyers organization, a Thomson Reuters business, which is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The annual selections are made using a patented multiphase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates, and peer reviews by practice areas.
