Sykesville, MD – Car Crash with injuries Reported at Liberty Rd & White Rock Rd

Sykesville, MD (June 19, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the Sykesville area ended in injuries. At around 7:30 a.m., on June 17, the Sykesville Freedom District Fire Department and police responded to the scene of a crash on Liberty Road.

Reports from local authorities show that a black sedan and an additional vehicle were involved in a crash on Liberty Road in the area of White Rock Road during the morning hours. The impact of the crash caused extensive damage to the sedan, trapping one person inside.

Firefighters extricated the trapped victim from their vehicle. A helicopter responded to the scene to transport the victim to a local hospital for further care.

A second victim was treated at the scene.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
