Car Accidents in Maryland
Around 580 people are hurt in auto accidents across Maryland every week. In many instances, victims are left with life-changing injuries that require some form of medical treatment. Some of the most common injuries victims from crashes are left with include:
- Broken bones
- Traumatic brain injuries
- Spinal cord injuries
- Back injuries
- Neck and soft tissue injuries
- And more
These injuries are not only painful, but they can force victims out of work for weeks or even several months as they recover. In some instances, victims have to go through multiple surgeries, rehabilitation, and a variety of long-term treatments. Dealing with painful injuries can not only impact your mental and emotional health and wellbeing, but your family will most likely experience overwhelming financial consequences as well.
Although there are many instances where people are careful while traveling throughout the state, victims are often harmed in crashes due to the negligence of others. We see thousands of accidents take place due to drivers who are impaired, distracted, and engaging in negligent actions.
When innocent parties are harmed in crashes, due to the negligent actions of motorists, they may have legal options available to them in civil court that can help them recover compensation. Seeking the guidance of a Rockville car accident lawyer can help to ensure you are in the best position possible to move forward.
