Car Accidents in Maryland
Being involved in a motor vehicle accident can be life-changing. Unfortunately, we see more than 100,000 people suffer injuries as a result of crashes every year in our state. In many instances, injured parties are rushed from the scene of their accidents and admitted to local hospitals for treatment. Depending on the type and severity of injuries, victims may have to spend several weeks or even months recovering from their injuries and going through therapy and rehabilitation.
Some of the most common injuries reported in Maryland car accidents include:
- severe spinal cord injuries that result in paralysis
- traumatic brain injuries that result in loss of balance and mood instability
- broken bones that require surgery and long-term care
- internal organ damage that can be life-threatening
When people suffer serious injuries and accidents, they often had to go through long-term treatment. Unfortunately, there is no guarantee that a person will make a full recovery from their injuries. As a result, we see countless people left permanently disabled following their car wrecks.
