The police in Montgomery County are investigating the truck crash.
We hope the people hurt in this truck accident make a full recovery.
Truck Accidents in Maryland
More than 50 fatal truck accidents are reported every year in the state of Maryland. There are also countless other accidents that end in serious injuries. Truck accidents are more likely to end in catastrophic injuries due to the fact that these vehicles can wait up to 80,000 lbs while fully loaded.
In Maryland, some of the main causes of truck accidents include driving while drowsy, texting, driving while impaired, and even aggressive driving behavior. People who are injured in truck accidents often require emergency medical attention. Many injured victims have to go through emergency surgery and spend days or even weeks in recovery. Given the fact that truck accidents often end in more severe injuries, the chances of being left permanently disabled following a truck accident are highly increased.
When people are hurt in truck accidents, they may have legal options available to help them recover compensation that they can use for medical care and other expenses that they face throughout their recovery. Teaming up with a Bethesda truck accident lawyer can provide you with the best opportunity to protect your legal rights.
