Silver Spring, MD – Pedestrian Injured in Car Crash on Lockwood Dr near Heather Hollow Circle
Silver Spring, MD (June 27, 2022) – One person was transported to an area hospital for the treatment of injuries following a pedestrian accident reported in Silver Spring on Sunday morning. Just before 10 a.m., on June 26, emergency crews were dispatched to the site of an auto accident on Lockwood Drive.
Reports provided by the police show that a pedestrian was traveling in the 11,400 block of Lockwood Drive during the morning hours. For unknown reasons, they were struck by a vehicle near Heather Hollow Circle.
The pedestrian sustained injuries as a result of the crash. Emergency medical services with the Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Services rendered aid to the victim. The injured pedestrian was then transported to a local hospital for further care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
