Gaithersburg, MD (June 11, 2022) – A child was left injured as a result of a motor vehicle accident in the Gaithersburg area. At around 7:50 p.m., on June 8, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Longdraft Road.
Reports provided by authorities show that a juvenile was on a scooter traveling on Longdraft Road near Pheasant Run Drive. For unknown reasons, they were struck by a vehicle.
The child suffered injuries as a result of the accident and had to be transported by Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Services EMS to a local hospital for medical attention.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
