Gaithersburg, MD (June 8, 2022) – A pedestrian accident that took place in the Gaithersburg area left one adult victim injured. On June 7, the Montgomery County Police Department and firefighters responded to a crash that occurred on Frederick Road.
Reports from the MCPD show that an adult pedestrian was struck by a vehicle while walking on Frederick Road near Whitfield Drive just before 5 p.m. The pedestrian was injured as a result of the crash.
The Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Services EMS responded to the scene to provide treatment to the injured victim. The pedestrian was then transported to a nearby hospital, where they underwent treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.
The circumstances surrounding the crash are under investigation by the police in Montgomery County.
