Silver Spring, MD – Motorcycle Crash with Injuries Reported at Georgia Ave and Forest Glen Rd
Silver Spring, MD (June 7, 2022) – A motorcycle accident occurred in Silver Spring on Monday that left at least one person injured. Just before 3:30 p.m., on June 6, the Montgomery County Police Department, Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Services, and EMS responded to a motor vehicle wreck on Georgia Avenue.
Reports from MCPD show that a passenger car and a motorcycle collided on Georgia Avenue at the intersection of Forest Glen Road. The incident caused delays in the area after MCPD and MCFRS closed off the intersection.
MCFRS EMS rendered aid to the injured victims on-site. At least one person was transported by EMS to a nearby hospital where they underwent further medical care for their injuries.
The MCPD is currently investigating the crash.
