North Bethesda, MD – Bicyclist Struck by Vehicle on Tilden Ln near Danville Dr
North Bethesda, MD (May 27, 2022) – A pedestrian accident reported in North Bethesda on Thursday afternoon left one person injured. At around 310 p.m., on May 26, the Montgomery County Police Department and firefighters were dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Tilden Lane.
Reports provided by the police show that a juvenile was riding a bicycle in the 6300 block of Tilden Lane during the afternoon hours. As the preteen passed through the area of Danville Drive, they were struck by a vehicle.
The bicyclist sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Services EMS rendered aid to the victim at the scene before transporting them to a local hospital for further care.
At this time, the police in Montgomery County are investigating the crash.
