Rockville, MD – I-270 Crash Between Montrose Rd & Old Georgetown Rd Leaves Several injured
Rockville, MD (April 11, 2022) – A crash that took place in the Rockville area left multiple victims in need of emergency medical care. At 3:30 p.m., on April 11, the Montgomery County Police Department was dispatched with the Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Services to the site of a major wreck on Interstate 270.
Reports show that several vehicles collided on the southbound side of Interstate 270 during the afternoon hours. Multiple people involved in the crash were hurt. Firefighters and the police closed off Interstate 270 between Montrose Road and Old Georgetown Road for an extended period. Multiple EMS units responded to provide care to victims.
