Bethesda, MD (March 19, 2022) – at 4:45 p.m., on March 18, the Montgomery County Police Department responded to a Bethesda crash involving multiple vehicles.

Investigations conducted by the MCPD show that three vehicles were involved in a crash in Boyd’s area. The incident blocked the northbound lanes of Interstate 270. Police and the Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Services blocked the lanes of the highway between Route 27 and Route 121.

Medical personnel with MCFRS treated victims for their injuries. EMS then transported victims who needed further assistance to nearby hospitals.

The crash remains under investigation by the Montgomery County Police Department.

Our thoughts are with the victims hurt in this three-vehicle crash.

Car Accidents in Maryland

Being involved in a crash can have a devastating impact on a victim. Many victims suffer severe injuries that negatively impact their ability to function every single day. In some cases, people hurt in crashes sustain spinal cord injuries that result in some form of paralysis. There are also instances where people are left with traumatic brain injuries that make it hard to concentrate, cause memory issues, and are extremely painful. These and other types of serious injuries are not only painful, but they require extensive medical care.

We see many people transported right from the scene of their crash to area hospitals for medical care. In many cases, victims require surgery. Injured parties then have to spend several weeks in recovery. The physical consequences of crashes are often hard to deal with. Many accidents result in overwhelming mental and emotional struggles as well. Victims and their families will also have to cover the costs of medical treatment and vehicle repairs. These can be tens of thousands of dollars. No one should have to cover unexpected and towering costs due to another person’s negligence. It is important that victims seek the assistance of a qualified car accident lawyer in Bethesda after their accidents. Victims may be able to obtain the compensation they need to cover these costs.
