Wheaton, MD – Collision on Georgia Ave between Arcola Ave & Henderson Ave Ends in Injuries
Wheaton, MD (March 11, 2022) – At around 8:50 p.m., on March 10, the Montgomery County Police Department was dispatched to a major auto collision on Georgia Avenue.
Reports provided by MCPD show that several lanes of Georgia Avenue were blocked as a result of a crash that occurred during the evening. The incident caused delays between Arcola Avenue and Henderson Avenue, which lasted for more than one hour as the police department and the Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Services worked to clear the site.
Several people were hurt as a result of this motor vehicle accident. Multiple people were provided care by MCFRS EMS and transported to hospitals for further medical aid.
The police are currently conducting investigations into the circumstances of the crash.
