Bethesda, MD – Truck Crash with Injuries Reported on I-270 between River Rd & I-270 Spur
Bethesda, MD (February 28, 2022) – Just before 8 p.m., on February 27, the Montgomery County Police Department and firefighters with the Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Services were notified that a crash on the Inner Loops of Interstate 495 required assistance.
Police and firefighters responded to the collision and blocked off a portion of the roadway between River Road and the Interstate 270 Spur. The incident caused delays just before the Spur/Spli.
Several vehicles, including one semi-truck tractor-trailer, were all blocking multiple lanes of the roadway.
Medical personnel with MCFRS provided treatment to victims at the scene and transported them to nearby hospitals where they were provided further assistance.
The police in Montgomery County are investigating the truck crash.
