Burtonsville, MD – Collision at Columbia Pike & Greencastle Rd Ends in Injuries
Burtonsville, MD (February 23, 2022) – At 6:55 p.m., on February 22, the police and firefighters in Montgomery County were requested at a crash that occurred in the Burtonsville area.
Preliminary reports provided by the Montgomery County Police Department show that a collision between vehicles took place on Columbia Pike at Greencastle Road during the evening hours.
The crash blocked several northbound lanes of Columbia Pike (Route 29) prior to Greencastle Road.
Medics cared for injured victims at the scene. At least one victim was transported by Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Services EMS for further treatment.
Investigations of the crash are underway with the police department in Montgomery County.
