Wheaton, MD (February 21, 2022) – At 10:45 a.m., on Monday, February 21, the Montgomery County Police Department and firefighters with Montgomery County Fire & Rescue services rushed to a crash that occurred on Georgia Avenue.
Reports provided by the police in Montgomery County show that a pedestrian was struck by an unidentified vehicle on Georgia Avenue near the intersection of Shorefield Road in the Wheaton area.
The pedestrian was hurt as a result of this collision. Medics with the MCFRS provided aid to the pedestrian at the crash site. The victim was then rushed to a hospital in the local area for care.
The Montgomery County police are currently investigating the crash.
