Our thoughts are with the crash victims who suffered injuries.
Car Accidents in MarylandAlthough vehicles roll over in nearly 3% of all crashes that result in serious injuries, nearly 30% of fatal accidents involve at least one vehicle that overturns. When vehicles roll over during crashes, the chances of being severely hurt are increased substantially.
Vehicles roll over and trap occupants inside. Firefighters will then have to spend precious time extricating victims. This dramatically increases how long it takes for victims to receive adequate medical care. When victims are severely injured, time is of the essence. Any amount of wasted time can increase the chances of a person passing away from their injuries or suffering irreversible harm.
Being hurt in a crash can have both immediate and long-term impacts on a person’s life. Immediately, victims will be forced to endure painful injuries and medical care. Victims not only deal with the mental and physical consequences but being unable to work can be difficult to deal with financially. Covering towering medical bills can seem impossible.
