Gaithersburg, MD – Crash with Injuries Reported on I-370 near Washingtonian Blvd
Gaithersburg, MD (January 10, 2022) – Several victims were injured in a crash reported on Monday morning in Gaithersburg. Just before 1:30 p.m., on January 9, the Montgomery County Police Department and firefighters responded to a motor vehicle collision blocking the westbound side of Interstate 370.
Reports from the MCPD show that an undisclosed amount of vehicles were involved in an incident that blocked the westbound side of Interstate 370 near Washingtonian Boulevard. The crash blocked the roadway between Route 355 and Interstate 270 well into the morning hours.
Medics in Montgomery County responded to the crash to treat multiple people who were harmed. At least two victims were transported to local hospitals with traumatic injuries.
At this time, the Montgomery County Police Department is conducting investigations surrounding the crash.
