Pedestrian Accidents in MarylandWe see pedestrian crashes take place far too often in Maryland. Although they occur nearly every day, we cannot predict the negative impact they have on victims and their families. Sadly, these crashes take the lives of more than 100 Marylanders annually while leaving thousands more with injuries that demand medical care.
Every day, we see innocent pedestrians hurt in crashes that are caused by drivers who are impaired by alcohol. We see many people hurt in crashes caused by motorists who rather look at their cell phones than the road ahead. Pedestrians are more vulnerable to being severely harmed in crashes caused by distracted, impaired, and reckless drivers. These victims have no suit of armor to protect them nor steel cages that benefit other people involved in crashes.
When pedestrians are hurt in motor vehicle collisions, they often have legal options available to them. Should you find yourself left with injuries as a result of a negligent driver, contact our Aspen Hill pedestrian accident lawyers right away.
