Greenblatt & Veliev, LLC, won a $246,948 jury verdict in favor of a client injured in a rear-end vehicle collision.

As a result of the automobile accident, Plaintiff suffered hip damage, which resulted in a bilateral hip replacement and medical expenses exceeding $100,000.

The defendant only had a $50,000 insurance policy, so after first obtaining the full limits of the defendant’s policy, Greenblatt & Veliev took the client’s own insurance carrier to court.

Pursuant to the client’s Underinsured Motorist Policy, Plaintiff’s own insurance company was responsible for paying for any of the client’s damages that exceeded the defendant’s policy limits of $50,000. The Plaintiff’s insurance company refused to pay any money to the Plaintiff over the amount that the defendant gave her and did not make any settlement offer to the Plaintiff.

After a jury trial in the Montgomery County Circuit Court, attorney Trevor Rose of Greenblatt & Veliev, LLC, won a jury verdict of $246,948 for the Plaintiff against her own insurance carrier.
